Men's Fashion Week

In the midst of Men’s Fashion Week, we’ve all been swamped with gorgeous photographs of the current happenings in Milan. On scouring through the looks from the shows, you boys are really in for a treat when it comes to next season’s hair trends.

First up, Vivienne Westwood. As expected, the collection oozes Westwood’s trademark English style, and the hair did no less. Reminiscent of the 1920s Pompadour Finger Weaving, the hair was kept with a side parting, with the main sections of hair slicked into stylish waves.

Next up, Burberry Prorsum. You can’t fail to notice the brunette barnets of almost every model on the runway; this contrasting with the pale faces of the boys made for a really dramatic and striking look. The styles were all fairly similar, all models had relatively messy, fringed hair. Some had longer, eye-skimming fringes, while others were left with inch-long, fairly unkempt side fringes.

Similarly, Prada had a line-up of boys with edgy fringes and pale faces. However, the runway was awash with precise, horizontal fringes, just covering the upper part of the forehead. There is a definite schoolboy feel to the hair, with a slight element of the ‘bowl cut’, though these boys can certainly pull it off, just like Nicholas Hoult in his Skins days.
